What does "Arkana" mean?

Our name comes from the"icaro" which is sung at your last ceremony for protection, called an "Arkana".

As a parting gift for you, when you participate at one of our Ayahuasca Retreats at Arkana Spiritual Center, we record the Arkana icaro which will be sung to you by the shaman at the end of your last ceremony. Then we will send you the audio so that you may listen to it at home and have it forever.

The Shaman was absolutely magical. A very genuine soul with powers that I am still in awe of. All of the facilitators & volunteers were some of the most genuine souls I’ve ever met in my life. Our group was very supportive of each other. This place felt safe. I was confident nothing bad could happen to me with this experience. The food was great. Fruit and tea always available. Surrounding mountains were majestic.

The people working here are genuine healers. I honestly have never met people who radiate so much love. I did four ceremonies of Aya. They were beautiful & difficult experiences. Nothing that you will read online will prepare you for what your about to experience.

I did 4 ceremonies and I now realize what they mean when they say you should be patient. My first 2 left me confused but after the 3rd and 4th ceremony I was amazed by what the plant can do for you. The shamans & the icaros were powerful. The facilitators were amazing. Always made you feel at home and were there if you needed anything. Most importantly, during the ceremonies if anyone had any trouble they knew exactly how to be and what to say to calm us down. The daily activities were really fun. Your schedule is actually packed, you get the most of being in the Amazon. The tour guides were also fantastic. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here for their ayahuasca journey as it has given me one of the best experiences of my life.

Very peaceful and professional retreat. We were a group of military veterans and all had an amazing time. The staff and the shaman were there for anything we needed. Thanks Jose!
